San Saba partners with Michael's Catering

San Saba Vineyards has announced Michael's Catering is its exclusive on-site caterer.

The vineyard is now available for weddings, private and corporate events.

San Saba's Salinas Valley tasting room and winery are located at 35801 Foothill Road, near Soledad.

Michael’s Catering is an award-winning, full service company owned and operated by Chef Terry N. Teplitzky and has been serving the larger Monterey Bay with the highest quality cuisine and service since 1983. Michael’s Catering is centrally located in Marina, California, sharing its production kitchen with Wild Thyme Deli & Cafe, also owned by Chef Teplitzky. From Santa Cruz to Big Sur and San Jose to Greenfield, Michael’s Catering has a well known reputation for offering the best in offsite catering.

Chef/Owner Terry Teplitzky was professionally trained at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. Chef Teplitzky brings not only extensive training and experience, but also a unique and innovative flair to his creations. Terry’s passion for fine food began in the hotel and restaurant business in Atlantic City, NJ, at the famous Teplitzky Hotel and Restaurant on the Boardwalk, owned and operated by his family for two generations. After graduating from the CIA, Chef Teplitzky worked for some of the nation’s most distinguished restaurants and hotels including La Maison Blanche, The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, D.C., and the renowned Washington Square Bar & Grill in San Francisco. Locally, Chef Teplitzky was Executive Chef at the well-known Sardine Factory and at Carmel’s On The Park Bar and Grill. Chef Teplitzky believes strongly in giving back to the community and has a long record of helping others including his leadership role with the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s popular Cooking for Solutions events, as well as long time service as Head Chef of the annual Meals On Wheels fundraiser, among other non profit associations.
