Chef of the Year Paul J. Lee, CEC

Tonight was the 33rd annual Monterey Peninsula Chef of the Year Award and Presidents Ball. Hosted at the Monterey Marriott hotel by Chef Willi Franz and his staff.

Certified Executive Chef Paul Lee was honored this evening as Chef of the Year for his tireless efforts in working with the community.

Master of Ceremonies this evening was "All Madden" NFL Referee Jim Tunney. And between Tunney and Colin Moody, CCC, and President of the Chapter the evening moved along rapidly.

Several of the Mayors of surrounding areas were on hand with proclamations for Chef Lee, as were many local purveyors.

Robbie Torres of Robbie's Ocean Fresh Seafood was named Purveyor of the Year for the second year in a row.
