OB's Babbotee

Ok then, here is the recipe for Babottee..Something different but very good..You can cut the ingrdients down to make smaller portions..

1 lb ground beef
1 lb of ground hot sausage
1 apple, peeled, cored, and diced
1 large onion
2 bananas, sliced
1 lb can of diced tomatos
1 tbsp of apricot jam or you can use canned apricots sliced
1 tbsp of curry
Salt and pepper to taste.

brown meats and drain fat. Add all other ingredients and simmer for about 45 minutes...Add tomato juice if it is too dry or thick. Serve over noodles or rice and serve with garlic bread...
Yep sounds crazy but is really different..This recipe I learned while in Jamaica. Yes it does sound crazy. I'm gonna try a small batch. While poking around I found a recipe for this from the Congo Cookbook, and a Pan-American Airlines cookbook.~Brian
