CV COMMUNITY CENTERS THANKSGIVING DINNERS A SPECIAL OCCASION

The Tenth Annual Carmel Valley Community Thanksgiving dinner was a huge success. Our heartfelt thanks to Steve Royston, our chef and his son Steve Royston, Jr. We also thank Hidden Valley Music Seminars for donating their kitchen and Jim’s Window Cleaning for donating half of the turkeys we needed to cook. Those who enjoyed their Thanksgiving meal at the Community Centers on Ford Road and in Cachagua enjoyed a typical Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings. This was a true family affair enjoyed by young and old alike.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make Thanksgiving such a special occasion. Each volunteer, from food preparation, kitchen detail, decorators, greeters, pie servers, drink servers, table bussing crew, those who helped keep the buffet table supplied, the clean-up crew, and those who donated pies and decorations. We would not be able to have this festive Thanksgiving meal without your hard work. This was a true community event.

We thank the students from Tularcitos School for their art work, the Carmel Valley 4-H who decorated pumpkins and made pinecone turkeys, and to Brownie Troop 2028 who made special table decorations. The children’s decorations were so special.

We also thank the following business that made donations: A to Z Rentals, Earthbound Farms, Gatanaga Nursery, Hacienda Hay, Meg’s Carmel Valley Chevron, Mission Linen, Nunes Co., Taylor Farms, The Produce Barn, and Brian Isaeff, Territory Manager US Foodservice.

Thank you one and all, you made this wonderful event such a success!
