A Chef's Idea Of Supermarket Food

What would a chef want to find at a supermarket or mainstream
restaurant in the future? Fifteen members of .San Francisco’s Center for Culinary Development(CCD) Chefs’ Council® revealed their dream “future fare” at the 15 Tastes of the Future event.

CCD, a food and beverage development company, hosted the event to celebrate their 15th anniversary and showcase the culinary talent that their Chefs’ Council® brings to the product innovation creative process.

“The event was an opportunity to celebrate San Francisco’s rich culinary heritage and the favorable business climate that has helped CCD thrive developing new food and beverage products for the world’s largest restaurant chains and packaged-goods companies since 1992,” said Marc Halperin, COO and co-founder
of CCD.

Halperin continued, “Our Chefs’ Council® is a dynamic group, made up of 85 nationally recognized food professionals including executive chefs, restaurant operators and cookbook authors that would be difficult,if not impossible, to replicate anywhere else in the country.”

If you are interested in carrot and pea shooters, Inca energy bars, and Caffine wrapped in thai flavors..this is the article for you!

CCD showcased this think tank, and asked the chefs to follow only their culinary instincts to create what they want readily available tomorrow, working without client constraints as they usually do when assigned to product development projects
